1 cup (250 mL) milk
½ teaspoon (2 mL) vanilla extract
8 slices of bread
1 tablespoon (15 mL) canola oil
- In a large bowl, mix eggs, milk and vanilla.
- Dip one slice of bread at a time into the egg mixture and let it soak for a few seconds on each side.
- Lightly grease the skillet with 1 tablespoon of canola oil, then cook bread until golden brown on each side, 1 ½ - 2 minutes.
- Serve hot.
